The investigation discovered that former Mount Laurel Police Officer Ayron Taylor allegedly accessed computer data without proper authorization and accessed nude images of victims, including juveniles. Taylor allegedly disclosed several of these images to unknown individuals without their permission. Taylor was arrested and charged with several second and third-degree crimes, including computer-related activity, invasion of privacy, possession of items depicting the sexual exploitation of a child, and distribution of 25 or more items depicting the sexual exploitation of a child. Taylor was suspended immediately without pay and resigned from the Mount Laurel Police Department before the final disposition of the investigation.
